I met Jon Long, one of the son’s of the owner of Long McQuade in 2007. I was getting a lot of CD orders from employees of Long McQuade. Asking why and I was told that Jon Long had recommend my company (dbsDuplication) . So I went to the store to thank Jon Long. His reply was that I should take current BIA newsletter for Bloor and turn into a newspaper and make sure I featured local music singers. Jon Long was the active in encouraging fellow member of the local BIA to advertise.  Thus, Jon Long launched Bloor News. After a few more visits Jon wanted to videotape all of his “Jon Long’s Danforth Jam” He believed that this exposure would encourage people to attend his events.

The phone # 416 693 8530 and the site entertainmentagency.ca were for Jon as was the office on bloor west. JONATHAN LONG passed away suddenly on April 20, 2018
